Someone to fit Discs and Pads in Herts quickly!

Why not try DIY? Brakes are one of the easiest things to change IMHO and there is a lovely guide specific to the 993 at http://p-car.com/diy/diy.html
If it's the rears, remember to leave the handbrake off, or the shoes inside the hub will catch on the old disk as you pull it off.
Rear disks and pads can be had next day from all the usual mail order outlets for around £150

Thanks Melv,
but i'm on a bit of a budget, I have found somewhere else who can do it in time.
Diver: I would love to be able to change my own discs and pads, but having never done it before, i'm a bit paranoid that i will F*** it up. It's the sort of thing that would be a good demonstration show at a Porker fest, would make a change from walking around and staring at trade stands and looking for bacon butties. Anyone from the Independent Porsche Club listening?...
