Identify this little guy please
Discussion
So the girl at work received an email from her Dad this morning. He recently bought a villa in Spain and moved out there.
He woke up this morning and fished this little fella out of the pool:

I was not aware that Spain hosted such meaty arachnids! What type of spider is it? I've searched for Spanish Spiders and so on, but no luck identifying this monster...

Spain has some freaky creatures, i did not realise the size of some of the scorpions either,
we were fishing out there on one the rivers in rural spain when we were being harrassed by a rather substantial scorpion when along came a young spannish lady chattering on a mobile phone and push chair in front who gave it a rapid seeing too with the sharp end of a stilleto and who muttered something under her breath abouth the english!

Haha I tried to make the thread title as appealing as possible for this very purpose!
I'm not sure the size, but judging by the shadow, he isn't a money spider.
The first thing I said was that it was someones pet who'd tried its hand at swimming and failed.
I don't think it looks like a Wolf spider really, could be though.
