RAF leuchars airshow 2010

Well its come to that time of year again that its the RAF Leuchars airshow, which will be the last time that the Tornado F3 will be in residence at the Base (lets hope for a nice send off for the old bird), and so I was wondering who else is intending on going up for the show.

Mods - Please can we leave this one in the Scotland forum as its the only airshow up here so may get additional views.

About a mile from platform to the gate and another third maybe to the crowdline. The station isn't that far as the crow flies but the police detour you around the base accommodation and VIP entrace because of the large crowds.

Watching from my back garden...feel free to drop buy..entrance is a cold slab of lager and at least 4 burgers for bbq.

Has anyone else booked tickets for Saturday and not yet received them?

I booked mine early last week and still no sign of tickets.

How close are you to the air field? I'm almost tempted to take you up on the offer but I like to get really close to the planes and wander about the stalls etc.

I'm there but taking my old man to the 2 day Enthusiast package, also got myself a slot in the Tornado sim since it'll be the last chance to do so....
