Modern Classic Car Collection....best way to sell?

I have a few modern classics which I am reluctantly considering selling to fund somthing else that has cropped up.

I do not want to sell the cars individually, I want to sell the lot together to one person/collector.

Any ideas?

I think you might struggle to sell them as one lot. Might be worth talking to the Classic Car Club as they use modern classics as well as the older stuff.

I suspect that despite your best efforts if you do find a single buyers they'd split the collection anyway to just keep the cars that matched their taste.

If it is a case of wanting less hassle then just put them in a classic auction (eg. H&H) where they are all likely to sell on the same day.

Hmmm. The expression "modern classic" always bothers me. Often used to try to justify a higher price than the car is actually worth.

I would imagine either through an auction house or selling direct to a dealer who sells similar style of cars already perhaps?

Might not get the best price selling to a dealer but saves doing it all individually.

'Tis the UR Quattro, the "proper" one.

A nice collection of cars that, and all from a similar period of time. It's a huge amount of money to buy the lot in one go though - I'd say you would do better to flog them separately. If you want to keep them together you'd better think of a way to keep them yourself.

Thats why I posted and why I'd want the lot to go at once. You've only got to look at some of the responses on this thread to get an idea of the morons you would have to deal with......
