Blasted A80 Roadworks

Was out at aplace just past Slamannan to take son Clay shooting so though I'd risk Bishopbriggs A80 up towards Airdrie through Greengairs Slamannan Jawcraig sorted 30 mins or so No problem!

Aye right

Sitting in O/S lane avoiding trucks so I can keep eye on roadworks realise just just past M73 we are moving to other side of road

OK Must surely get Banknock - success

Slip down side road across canal and back on to A80 - WRONG hells bells

Back up to Banknock then off through castle carey - Wrong WHY ME!

Ok Lets try off at Old in success shout croaas courty on the most pock marked roads I've been on for a while and arive at Jawcraig Journey time 1hr 5mins

Wonder how many other irregular tranellers end up miles from where they want to be after missing the patheticly smalll signs

That will be the one in California then. What was the setup like and were they welcoming to you turnig up and shooting a few clays?

I only ask as my dad has a new silver pigeon 686 that he wants to have a bit of a play with before the pheasant season starts again.
