I'll be there in the celica.

I've not been round Snetterton yet, I've heard its a fast circuit. Any tips, braking points to roughly lookout for, etc ?

Is there a petrol station on site ?

I'm going in the GT3RS but it's the first time I've been to Snetterton so will probably be the slowest there.

Also coming with us is a Caterham CSR260 and a Clio Cup. Pop over and say hi.

Not sure about on circuit facilities but check the MSV Snetterton website.

Fingers crossed it's dry!

Cheers

Nearest petrol stations are thetford.

Remember to brake at the end of the long straight. (!)

There is petrol on site. When I was there in June it was £1.40 per litre. Otherwise Attleborough is only a few miles from Snett. To get there, out of the circuit join A11 Norwich bound. You will be given that info at the briefing.

The restaurant is usually open from about 7.30am and they do a good breakfast.

The Bomb Hole and Corams can catch people out although Corams run off has now been extended.

Sears (turn 2) exit has been changed this year, the run off is now restricted and if you go over the painted area too often you will get told off.

I was there monday. It's a great track, better for high powered cars but still very good fun for everyone. Breaking will vary for every cars abilities so just take it easy and work your way to your own and your cars limits.
Here is a video of me finding my breaking limits wink

Another when I settled in to comfortable limits

There was on site petrol available when I was there but I'm not sure of the cost or whether it's always available.
Just remeber track days are about having fun and I'm sure you will have a great time wink

Will do, can I be cheeky and ask for a ride in the GT3RS ?

I haven't done a wet trackday in ages, it does tend to slow the quicker cars down to more my level.

Some quick sections there, I guess 150mph in a couple of places for the quicker cars. If its wet I don't fancy it much !! narrow track, grass and walls.

Weather report:- occasional showers in morning clearing for the afternoon.

That could work, light track time in the morning getting faster in the afternoon...

There is a petrol station on site and it now holds our Sunoco race fuel. For those that don't know this is amongst the highest refined and pure race fuels in the world.

Great day,

A bit wet in the morning. I had a spin in Riches corner, started loosing the back end on turn in and once off the dry line I was stuffed. I thought I had caught it for a moment then ended up doing a few circles on the grass.

Afternoon was great, dry weather, a session with Calum and chasing down the old Porsches.

Well at least it was only a few spins on the grass. Better that than ending up in the barrier! Glad you had fun Andrew. It was fairly tricky conditions in the morning. We only had slicks and brand new full wets so it was a case of putting on the wets and scrubbing them in at slow speeds so as not to cook them.
