Last night witnessed something that could have got ugly.
2 lanes filtering into one.
I was sat behind a Rat look Polo (silly things on roof rack and wide streched tyres you know the type). In the outside lane is a red transit van without indicating he just pulls straight across the front of the polo. The VW driver raises a hand in a WTF kinda way (as you would). Next thing you know van has stopped (blocking trafic) and a complete dick has gotten out giving the poor chap in the Dub a complete mouth full! The guy in the polo looked about 17/18 and had done as far as I could tell nothing wrong at all. Had it turned physical I think I would have to step in, as it happens a quick toot of the horn from myself and the other 20+ cars waiting to get off the M5 was all took.
Seriously some people shouldnt be driving or breathing for that matter.

I had to use hand signals when my ZR decided to have a window licking spazz out resulting in no indicators.
All I got were strange looks and somebody got pissed off with me indicating to turn right (vaguely reminicant of the w
ker sign) Which I found quite funny to be honest!

The broad answer is due to the number of people fasting, not smoking or drinking, mixed with the heat and humidity, road rules tend to go out the window. The driving style throughout the month of Ramadan falls to incredibly poor levels, due to the frustration of many local drivers (and some expats).
Hence the lack of basic road safety, such as signalling, changing lanes without warning, speeding, tailgating (the worst) and undertaking.

I can confirm this is also the case here in Morroco right now - although it tends to get betetr the second week into Ramadan when everyone's bodies have adjusted and tempers get less frayed, less easily. Mind you, chaos has always ruled on the streets of Marrakech, irrespective of the time of year....had ham said:

This lemon did pretty much that to me. Swerved in front of me causing me to slam the brakes on. Then leaned out of the window shouting at me, followed by giving me the evil eye for the next 5 minutes. I so wanted to get out and t
t him but its really not the best solution. Looking at his quality motor though you would never guess he would be driving like a t
t. Must be quite a wealthy chap too, the insurance must be a few bob.
He must be worth a stop he looked off his face.

I was a bit concerned, given his general demeanor that he might use the rocket launchers mounted under the bumper. Seems its a 318. I believe if those pipes are really exhausts and that badge is real it must be hugely faster than a stock one.
I thought the same too normally are 316/318 but its got a straight 6 in it (its 323), with full M tech kit which makes it as good and fast as a M3 which I got told by someone before with a 316
