help sourcing omega spare part
Discussion
I know very little about good watches so excuse if this is a dumb question. I have an Omega constellation double eagle.
One of the split pins went, and one of the narrow bars between the bracelet links was lost.
I've dropped it into the local Omega dealer jewellers, but they have just written to me saying that they have "heard from the manufacturer - spare parts are no longer available for this bracelet" and quoted a repair price that is 50% of the watch's value new.
Do I have any other options as regards sourcing spare bracelet links? I love the watch but I find it hard to believe that Omega cannot supply a replacement link - is the jewellers just trying it on?
All help very gratefully received.

Try contacting these guys:

They sourced some vintage rolex stuff for me and are currently looking to get a dial for a vintage omega for me. The guy there (Simon) is a nice guy to deal with.
