A329(M) new average speed cameras coming out of Bracknell

....two yellow gantries have appeared, one opposite the Peacocks Farm pub (but on the A329M !), and the second just before the Wokingham sliproad. Each gantry has one camera pointing in each direction.

Not sure if they are permanent or if they just there for the roadworks.

Maybe they could finish the fking roadworks on the M4/A404 first. Those cameras have been there for over 2 years!

Infact, I haven't been through there for 3 weeks. Are they done there?

Drove along there today and there was no reduced limit and the specs cameras were not aligned, so its not set up yet. Can't take them too long to make an entry/exit slip there though once they get started.

Are they even going to touch the Bracknell bound lane? Surely there is no space for a sliproad. It looks to me just like an exit/entry slip for the Reading/M4 bound side of the A329M.

Left lane stays put and is a bypass lane, the right lane splits off and goes to the roundabout which will be built to the side of the existing road/across the reading bound lanes.

here's the nearly finished product, it could be a fun roundabout i suppose, unless they put a permanent 50 on it or something daft.

I find this a bit harsh. I mean doing people for wanting to leave Bracknell at maximum warp. Have the local scamera partnership ever BEEN there?

It's like a Talivan waiting just over the Swiss border in the Great Escape, waiting for Steve to make his break for freedom, just so he can be issued with a fpn for doing 57 in a 40 when he landed.
