Every time I see a picture of the Alfa 8C Competizione I think it is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen.

For me, and this is an unpopular choice, it's got to be the Subaru Impreza hatch.



I think it's a great looking cr. Perhaps not as good looking as the legendary saloon it replaced, and not as good to drive from what I gather, but it still looks like an excellent car. It looks very compact and powerful. I think if Subaru had launched this as a new car and kept the Impreza as a saloon this particular hatchback would not have taken such a battering. It's not a bad looking car, but I think the removal of the saloon hacked a lot of Subaru fans (me included) off, so this car never got a fair chance.

btw - your eyes need testing. There will be many cars suggested as beautiful on this thread, but for looks alone your choice is surprisingly ugly. (but that's only my opinion)

It does show what you're saying, everyone has different tastes.

I've seen several 8C's in real life and was thoroughly underwhelmed........not sure what is my most beautiful though..........

Rover SD1 for me. When I was a boy (bout5 or 6) there was a burnt out one left at the entrance to an alley on Mare st in Hackney and it used to make me quite sad to see it sat there all melted and rusty.

I own a 207 GTI too so I guess that makes me an "eye of the beholder" type.

its a nice looking car shur.but is it economimical and practical.i once owned a skoda I bught it for £125 ran it for a year and sold it for £100.it was very reliable and only ever broke down onece this was due to the engine being in the back and the radiator hose running the lenght of the car,it ran out of water on a very hot day I put some piss and lemonade in and it was as good as new.one year after selling the car i went to lidle and it was in the car park the old woman and her two sons recognised me and came up and shook my hand saying how it was the best car they had ever owned.
when driving this bright orange skoda there was no need to slow down for speed bumps as the leaf spring suspension was not fazed at all.all so theese snobs in there 4 by4 s were easily intimidated.cool car if you you allready have a big cock and do not require an extension.

Actually I think you will find it is an "S"type
