I can not find tyres anywhere for my Chimera, Racing Greens suppliers let them down, and I hope to be up in Blackpool on Friday till monday but TVR cant get any either, Ideally I want Toyos to match the rears, the size is 225/50/15, any clues as to who would be best to try would be good, (I am awaiting response from Black Circles)

when I recently had mine done, the local Toyo place (Malvern Tyres in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire) got them in next day for me no problems......

And you've tried Micheldever Tyres?

Roland, I've just used www.blackcircles.co.uk and found them to be very good on price.
You could also try www.mytyres.co.uk who are a lot cheaper but then you've got the hassle of finding someone to fit them for you.
Cheers..... Andrew

I use Micheldever Tyres as they did a very good price. I worked out if I got them from Mytres.com and had them fitted etc. it would be more than Micheldever.

I think I paid £142 each for Toyo T1S rears on the Tamora.

I got some T1S's recently from 'Bracknell Tyre & Battery' - blackcircles admitted they couldn't get close to the price.
Phone and they'll have them in from they're warehouse next day.

Roadwheel at Fleet? 01252 617788

I've used them for years and they've been pretty much brilliant on price and good on service, too.

Mytyres.co.uk do not list Toyo, but they do have SO3's, Pirelli's, Dunlops and Good years. I was going to go for Toyo's because of TVR's current reccomendation, any thoughts?

I can second Bracknell Tyres, and also suggest Total Tyres in Binfield. They have both had them ex-stock in the past. Some Dunlops cost me £90 each all in. Failing that I have couple of potential track day ones in my shed if you are desperate!

I'll third Bracknell Tyre and Battery (01344 411323). When I phoned round for some prices recently, one of the people I spoke to, on being told where I'd got my best price from, said to me "I don't know how he does his prices and stays in business" which I took as recommendation enough!

The only thing to be aware of, if you go down there be prepared for a fairly long wait as they're always busy, but they do at least sort people out in the correct order.

I thought that was last weeks recommendation? Aren't they recommending Goodyear Eagle F1s now?

I found it very difficult sourcing Toyos with the correct speed rating and hence gave up. I wouldn't want the hassle if I had a puncture.

I have 1mm of tread left on the rear of mine, but its not where to get them from that is the issue, its qhat to get! I have SO2's on the front, so I should stay with directionals. If only I could get a set of SO2's for the rear....

I think all the new cars are coming through with f1s now. Mine is currently having some ins work at the factory and will need new tyres so I`m hoping I get a full set of F1s out of it.

Went for Toyo's from demon tweeks in the end, not the cheapest solution but the only one that fitted my busy timetable and other time constraints,at least the front will match the rears, if I had sorted myself out sooner I reckon the Good Years might have been the ones to go for, hopefully not a problem that I need to think about for a while

I'll 4th Bracknell! Cheapest around for 2 x 245/45/16 SO3s last Saturday at #100 + VAT each. Got there earlyish and the wait was only 10 minutes, but they said they were unusually quiet. Long queue behind me though and I'd phoned first to say I was coming. It did appear as if I queue jumped, but I trusted their list when I saw I was top. Special treatment for Tiv drivers perhaps? Well if it is, they get good advertising on forums such as this, as a result.
