TVR registration in UK

Hi Guys,

Who wants to help me register my sagaris on the original UK plates.

Is it possible for me to be the (belgian) owner but for the car to stay registered in the UK.

The car I bought is taxed till oktober and has 10 months of MOT left.

Hopping over every year for MOT is not an issue.

Willing to pay reasonably for rent of house/address to anyone who can help out.

in theory all you would need is a uk address to register it to and insure it from.

And i am pretty sure insurance legalisation states its got to be kept at the home address, I would be more than happy if you want to leave it at mine I will take good care of it for when you return to MOT it once a year.

IIRC thats exactly what the first owner of my wedge did back in the 80's the car was lhd, uk registered, but lived most of its life in belgium. the chap must have had a uk address as well, but all servicing from its early live was in belgium.. well other than when he stuffed it and it went back to the factory...

You could try emailing g3rau through his PH profile.

He bought my Griff and lives in France and I believe it is still registered, taxed, MOT'd etc in the UK but he and it both live in France.

I think the issue might be insurance. If it's registered at a UK address and taxed for the UK it will have to have a UK insurance policy. Most policies allow only a limited number of days away from the UK. Although it might be possible to negotiate more, what would the premiums be???
