Not as long as you state that you are the main driver.

Does it work like that? I thought you only insured those who used the vehicle? If he is the main driver then puts on 8 people who never use the car whatsoever, isn't that also fraud?

Or am I reading it wrong.

As long as you are the main driver, and not the other way around...

Insurance companies are wise to this fraud now, insurance will be higher, and if found out you get convicted of insurance fraud...

Good Luck..

No surely you insure people so they CAN use the vehicle. My mum is named on both my motors but I seriously doubt she will ever drive the Landie. Means she can if she has too.

Clean licensed female drivers seem to put the quotes down but adding too many people will probably put the quote up again.

Just make sure you aren't fronting!

??? I can only assume you are disagreeing with Rich, in which case you are wrong, it is insurance fraud, you will get convicted of it if caught.

6 extra drivers will increase the price as it's more risk, and they may not believe you anyway.

The OP is putting his parents on his policy as named drivers, not the other way round. He will be the main driver (we assume anyway).

I put both my parents on my insurance in the case that they need to use my vehicle, it just so happens that in doing so, my insurnace reduces.

Providing your your the main driver, your not lying.

From my personal experience, as soon as you start putting more than 1 or 2 drivers on, the premium starts to go up.

Its always baffled me, im the main driver, yet putting my mum on as a named driver halved my insurance a few years ago (not so lucky anymore) however im not any less of a risk to insure, im not complaining though.

As a side note, i belive if they crash whilst driving your car, its on your insurnace and not theirs. Correct me if im wrong.

Bissmire and visual are correct, as long as the op being the main driver us the policyholder he can add who he likes as long as they hold valid licences it isnt insurance fraud to add an additional driver to reduce the cost .

I`m sorry, how can adding people to your policy possible be insurance fraud.

If you not registered as the main driver yes, or the main driver on another policy.
