Chips and Scuffs
Discussion
Hi all,
I am going to accept a new job therefore my current company car needs to be given back. My current company are a real PITA when it comes to damage on the car, the slight scratch or mark and a could get stung for it. It is an 08reg Vectra with 45k on it but they will expect it to be pristine. I can get away with stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet but not marks where other cars have opened their door onto it. THere are a few marks like this down colour coded plastic strip along each side of the car, the car is silver so it really shows up the black plastic underneath.
Also there is a small scuff on the rear bumper where the wife reversed into a mound of mud in a country lane, this has gone back to the white plastic, probably the size of a 10 pence piece.
Are these any good?

Or any thing else?
My company is notoriously bad and getting very high quotes, the garage they use thinks it is insurance all the time and hikes the price up, they are also very unlikely to do it even after they have charged me for the repair so i am looking to get it done as cheaply as possible so i can get it through the inspection. Even a bodge job i am not fussed, these are little things that on a car that you used for 20k + a year you would not bother about.
Cheers

If it's a lease vehicle, be aware that a lease return inspection will find a bodge. You will then get a bill anyway. A competant SMART repairer will be able to sort you out. Touch-in kits like the Halfrauds one are not an answer. Try www.smartmapuk.co.uk for a technician in your area.
