Hi All,
I'm sure this has been answered before but I couldn't find it: I am thinking of bringing my 2007 GT CS back from the States when I return to the UK in few months time. Obviously running costs are a bit of concern!

I have noticed that I should be able to get insurance at a reasonable rate but I can't figure out what road tax I would have to pay. Advice would be much apreciated.

PS The Viper isn't mine to bring back. Doh!.

Cheers

Thanks all.

That sounds a lot less than I was expecting. Another reason for not bringing it back with me blown out the water.

.. because its not gone through type approval and comes on IVA or similar where you dont need to get exact CO2 rating.
Just a broad cc rating based system IIRC.

.. anyway, dont forget to bring the viper over too!

No emissions data and low level SVA/IVA type approval means it can't be tested so, like TVRs, it gets taxed on being over 1.6 litres.
