big swept/delta winged plane over London?

I think I just saw a large military aircraft fly over southwest london. It was making a bell of a racket. much louder than the normal civil airlines we usually get inbound or outbound from heathrow. Anyone else see it or know anything about it?

In all seriousness.. Twitter say it was not airbourne yesterday... and it does seem late for the Vulcan to be out...

Not a VC-10 was it? They can look rather swept/almost delta winged when viewed from certain angles, and they are rather loud.

Yeah i reckon a vc-10 is probably the most likely answer. My imagination was probably running away with me thinking it might have been a b1 lancer!
