Anyone bringing their TVR out to play on 27th April at Castle Coombe. £20 for 5 laps sounds like a good deal to me...

I agree with Ted.

Take a look at who else in in the queue for the track before you pay your money. There tends to be lots of dodgy looking gear there on these sort days. I've seen people turn up with an aging 5 or 7 series bimmer (couple of hundred quids worth) hooning around like loonies. Fair play to them, but I wouldn't want to be on the track at the same time.

Oh and it's Combe by the way

I'd go on the stroke association day in October. Last year, there was me, benno, and 2 other cars with an hour and 20 mins track time for 50 quid which went to charidy

So apart from not being able to spell Castle or Combe

Opinion seems to be split so far...

Apparently combe has become more strict, I was told someone was killed there and that is why they know have more marshals and even a driver briefing. I often do the mini action day later in the year, its usually great fun, especially as my owners club get me free track passes. Usually good fun, just be careful and remember there is little or no run offs. Oh and watch quarry had my mini very sideways round there

SimonT,

I am planning to go on the 27th. I have a P'96, 4.0HC Chimaera. I am looking forward to the day. I am going with my boyfriend, who is a police driver, and his brother, also a cop, who has an M5. I have been having fun on the roads around the Berks/Hants countryside, all within speed limit, of course. I will try to remember to get a PH sticker in case there are more of us there. Let me know if you're going or not

I will keep in mind the comments made here re: houligans in 'lesser' vehicles. Thanks!
