I have driven the 135i (own a 130i) and it is rapid. But it lacks the je ne sais quois that a full fledged M car has.Not having driven the 135i I'm not in a position to compare, but I'm hoping that the 1M goes properly hardcore, like the M3 GTS.
An Audi S5 will be fast, but the RS5 will always be that much better honed and possess greater depth.
Somehow I doubt it will go as hardcore as the M3 GTS - that is a world above ordinary M cars.

Not going to happen....weight wise, and the engine will be at least *35iS spec if not a bit more....so that's a min of 335-340hp.Judging by the, what appears to be, a now compromised spec to meet production timelines, it will a miracle if this 1M actually weigh LESS than a bare bones 135i...... but with a full wide track M3 chassis and M-LSD etc., it should handle and steer better than a 135i.
