Did I really see a G4 D4?

I only saw it for a few seconds, but it was definitly a G4 spec car with all the toys and that oragne paint. But it was also an 08 reg but the rear lights where those new LED ones on the D4?

Was I still hungover or are the G4 Discovery 4's out there now?

Seen a couple too and thought nothing of it until I saw your post. Think LR might've done them as a bit of a ltd edition marketing thing.

They were due another G4 challenge but canned it at the last min. The vehicles (some if not all) were already built.

There was a G4 challenge due last year, but the recession killed it off.

The cars are mostly HSE spec although there is 1 SE spec. they are all Discovery 3's auto and tdv6 engined with RHD, and are on 08 plates and were sold through the landrover dealer network for around £32-38k depending on mileage and markup etc.

The 06 G4 challenge got V8 HSE disco3's in RHD and LHD, they are scattered around the world.

The D4 tail lights can be retro fitted to D3's so you may have seen a disco with this mod.

The orange paintwork is very nice though.
