Hi peeps, Found where the petrol leak is coming from.... The big bit of hose that joins the filler neck to tank... Would anyone know the size please, It looks about 80-100mm,? The breather is knackered too.. I bet the hose from the tank is naff as well.. Just my luck.The fuel pump is whinning and ive read some info on fuel pumps and they can cause some of the symptoms ive been having..Obviously the car supposedly had a new one but it looked sus as it had gaffa all round it.. Oh well.. goota be done,, ta

You might be better off taking it out and getting it to a motor factors like SC to see if they can match it.
or maybe somwhere like pirtek who do all sorts of hosing materials.

Cheers mate.. I managed to get a bit of string round it and it comes out around 54mm ID, I found one for a mg that is 59 and that should do the trick.. Iam to beleive that the breather is 5/8" But 12-13mm is sufficient.. Looks like an easy job.. Im hoping that this is the cause of my prob.. If not might take it down to tickover in dartford as they are 2.8i capri specialists and are resonably priced.. At least they can do is put back the bits that are missing.. Cos I dont got a clue...

it may be worth trying Rally Design, as they do filler neck pipe for fuel systems, and elbows as well as straight lenghts

Cheers chaps... Hey stu.. will do..probably wont be till nxt wk.. got a buyer for the harley so ill have some readies to spend...yipee. Still need tie arm bushes done..If you can.. Will pay ya mate.. Would rather help a fellow wedge if i can as the help offered is amazing.. Cos were never ever gonna survive.. Unless.. we are a little bit.. crazy.. Sorry keep gettin 80s tunes in my head..must be gettin closer to driving the wedge.
