Indeed, it'll be a GReddy turbo kit going by the cracked manifold and will make 150BHP on a good day.

Unless it has a Begi or Flyin Miata conversion it's not worth looking at.

And your point is?? Disconnect the neons, change the bearing, get the manifold welded and it still will cost you around 1.5k

Now go and see how much the turbo kit costs on its own.

Now go and see how much the turbo kit costs on its own.

Take a moment to think how well the car has been driven / maintained when the owner can't change a fuse (well, can't be bothered to find out if it's the fuse) and thinks having a crack in the manifold sounds better.

Where does it say it sounds better? And not being bothered to investigate broken neons can be only a good thing

Ah, what the hell, I'm not gonna waste my time defending it - couldn't care less. I just think £1250 is a great deal even with those small niggles for a turbo MX-5 with new hood, good alloys, roof bar and other bits would be normally costly to buy/replace, plenty of MOT etc and you lot are forgetting that it's not a 10k MX-5...
