Hi All

I'm new here! Have just this weekend picked up my ST220 from a fellow PH'er and thought I'd share some pics of the beauty!

Sorry to be so rude, but would you mind telling how much you paid for it?

I'm looking into ST200s myself.

Lovely car you've got there,i reckon they're nicer in black rather than blue.

Thanks Steven

Originally I wanted the Performance Blue but couldn't find one specced out the way I wanted it.

Am really pleased I went with the black now because apparently something like 9/10 ST220's on the road are in PB so the black is pretty exclusive! smile

Christ that's a bargain. It makes me cry because it makes me realise how much mine must now be worth. I must have lost £7000 in depreciation in 4 years frown

Massive difference between the two. If you canonly afford a 200, do not drive a 220.

OP-looks like the rear bumper may be dropping looking at the gaps, look into it before it snaps all the lugs and you looking at a new bumper ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

Dave - thanks for that. Do you think it looks particularly "gappy" then? The car is 5 years old - would it not have caused a major issue by now if it was going to? (Excuse my ignorance here, and I'm quite prepared to be put wrong!)

I'm not particularly mechanically minded and just looking at that tutorial scares me! Obviously if it's going to cause a major issue i'll need to try and get it sorted ASAP...

Afraid it looks like it as dropped to me,open the boot, find the two TORX bolts, if the mount hasn't cracked you are in luck, if it has then it is too late, you can try fixing it but they usually just snap off. I did that guide on my brand new car, it's easy (although I was stting myself taking a spanking new car part!).

Can you post up some pics of the rear to be sure it has dropped? Looking again the gap on the boot doesn't look that different which would mean it hasn't dropped! May just be the angle the pics were taken at, can you get a finger in there?

Martin

In the 5 1/2 years of ownership the bumper has not moved, glad to see that you are enjoying the car.

Must say that comparing it to the ST3 the ST220 is a lot smother in delivering the power and dare I say better road holding.

The ST3 seems very twitchy and I probably will have to look at the mountune upgrade to get it somewhere nearer the ST220.

Hi Dave

Good to see you around.

Very much enjoying the car - just got to get used to the difference in fuel economy compared to the 1.25l Fiesta wink but boy is it worth it!

Bumper doesn't bother me, I think the pic slightly exaggerates the gap due to the angle or something!

Bad news is the drive element in the Sat Nav housing in the boot is going to need replacing! Apparently they fail quite often so may not even bother replacing it!

Not heard of that before...

What's wrong with it?

I think it is the angle of the pic, checked mine and if i look from that angle looks about the same, if the mounts haven't broken you will be fine. Make sure you are sitting down when you get a price for the DVD drive frown

Hmm... seemingly inexpensive part, so this has got to be a few quid shy of £600.
