This is aimed at the non married section of ph because really if you are married then you'd surely do pretty mcuh anything for one another, but maybe you had to do something massive in order to be with your spouse.

So, how far would you go (or have you gone) to be with or to make your partner happy? I'm talking emigration and relocation stories, travelling situations etc, did it work out well for you? Do you regret not going, missing an opportunity? Did you stay behind for something/someone else? If you went, how did your family/friends react? What would you do differently if anything?

Thanks and look forward to reading some interesting replies.

It's more not going for me. I'd move to America tomorrow were it not for her. I will at some point, either with or without her.yum

This is an obscure way of asking if you should let her fk you up the arse with a big black strap on isn't it?

Just take it like a man, who knows, you might even enjoy it!

Hmmm, wasn't really expecting this to turn into a debate about my own back doors being smashed in. Anyone got any experiences they care to share?

thanks

I recon a more interesting question would to those who are married/partnered up - how far would you go for someone who isn't your partner because you secretly like/fancy them!!

Cheers

Thats something different though, you could start that thread if you want, but thats more about what you'd do to get someones attention or to like you. I want to know what people have done when faced with the proposition of moving a long way or changing your life dramatically to still be with someone.

I almost moved to NZ. Lucky I didn't, as it turns out.

I used to travel 200 miles for my previous partner, from somerset to yorkshire.

Not much for my most recent one, since she bloody left me today.

I did, and after a year was desperate to come home. However I'm glad I did it, if only to confirm that NZ isn't for me.
