Can you top up a semi-synthetic engine oil with GTX?

GTX Magnatec is also semi-synthetic, so I would see that as Ok.

Mineral oil GTX (does it still exist) I wouldnt add out of choice, but if the sump is dry & you need to go somewhere then its better than nothing and wont hurt short term.

The V6 & V8 are both old designes not machined to tiny tolerances, so Mineral oil wont hurt. Synthetic oil just takes longer to break down

Would presume "semi synthetic" is called such because it is a mix of synthetic and mineral oil so guess you would just be "adjusting the ratio"

My understanding is that its best to run a rebuilt engine on mineral oil initially anyway so all the new components run in / wear together particularly rings and bores. Using fully synthetic (I know you're not) can prevent this happening.
It might be worth a quick call to TVR Power since they are giving you the warranty on the engine.
