As long as 'messing it' means making the thing waterproof thats where im starting. Its running spot on so I'll sort the little things out before a re-map etc.
BTW Its had the fuel pump and wiring done im told by previous owner, but you can hear the tone of the pump change when you load the electrics up (lights, heaters etc.) is this normal ? I thought the idea of the fuel pump mod was to sort the crap guage wire but also to tap a feed with enough amps to stop the drop ? - Sorry , the search is still fubar
Or I could just drive it in the day when its warm, but wheres the fun in that ?

After M12 KOP i owned the car and have PM'd you on nobleparts. It was sold to Gilberts Motors in Warwickshire. The last Owner has covered about 9k miles. I did 10k in 9 months IIRC
The pitch of the Bosch fuel pump on that car always changed a little when idling, I never worried about it
