Hey guys,

I may be living in a dream world and asking for too much (whilst sounding crazy).

I am currently trying to start a career in Motor Journalism via YouTube, and i thought the best way to get started with that was to make in depth video reviews of cars, i have only done the one so far of my own car, which many people liked and thanked me for doing.

My next video is of my sister's brand new Honda Jazz, which i will be presenting to my local Honda dealership (Blade Honda, Gloucester) in the vain hopes of them letting me do reviews of their stock.

So what i was thinking was......if i can get a video of a supercar, that might really start things off for me =]

Recently i have been going to London to film supercars and within a month, i already have 2 of my videos in the YouTube partner programme

So things are looking good!

What i wanted to ask, and i know im asking for A LOT, was.....is anyone around the Gloucestershire area willing to let me do a short video of their car?

I just want to make it clear that i DO NOT want to drive them or need to drive them at all, just simply show its features, show the exhaust sound, how things operate in and around the car and the cars performance and specification figures.

I would be FOREVER grateful whoever (if anyone) will allow me to do this.

Hey, I know you watch my videos, but the way I think to get into it more is to get yourself to every event you can possibly get to; meet owners and speak to them out there and see what you can do.

What about speaking to a superior club like p1 or someone who rents out cars for trackdays. If you were to do a few videos of their cars with some free advertising for them they may think it worthwhile and you should get quite a few done in one day. Think along the pines of clear logo placement.for them, or an end screen with their details. Give them a call and ask might say no but might say yes.

Speak to Mike at Auto Adrenalin Car Club - will PM his number to you now - or google them and contact via their site.
Good club with good people, not pretentious, just like a laugh and love cars.
Tell Mike that I saw your note on here and advised you to contact him.

They regularly organise events with a whole raft of their members cars (Lambo's, Ferrari's, Maserati's, Porsche's, GT40 etc etc)

You might be able to tag along and hit a whole heap of cars you are after in one sitting.

Suggest that you offer to upload the video(s) to youtube with a propomtion of Auto Adrenalin at the beginning/end or something, sure he'd be more than happy to have you along for a day ;-)

Good luck with it (might even see you there one day)

... and BTW for what it's worth, well done for getting off your ar*e and GO GETTING what you want rather than sittig and waiting for it to fall into your lap as most do. It will at least show any potential employer that you are willing to do what it takes - whihc will bode well I'm sure.
