Dyno Results (sort of)

Went to Emerald last Thursday, had a mad top end misfire that i could not suss, Dave spotted it half way through mapping (the first time!), down to low resistance injectors i had installed, (like i knew that!). He installed some resistors, also lowered fuel pressure and increased values to get a more finite adjustment.....
This caused the first mapping session to go out of the window, so start again.

Second mapping session halfway through he discovers a wiring fault, that means it is squirting an extra shot, just on ONE bank at 180 degrees!
Scrapping that sesh!
This is the finalish map, wheelspin sets in at just after 5k in 4th, forget third as it smokes the brains out of the tyres.
I have to finish this off at a dyno that can get the grip at the top end, eg TVR Power.
But hats off to Dave, what a patient hero!

Its Based on an LS3 Block, Cadillac Escapade i think, overbored and stroked with Callies rods and Mahle pistons. Aftermarket Dart heads, modded combustion chambers and flowed runners, fairly Mahoosive cam and a set of Kinsler independent Throttle bodies chucked on the top, all kept in choon by Emerald 3D ECU, other than that its completely standard!

Does better on fuel with the ITB's 220-230 miles at Mway speeds.
It nearly had me on the way home, half asleep after the 5.30am jetlag, 5th gear and a gentle squeeze at 90ish, and it went sideways, was a bit damp but it woke me up!!

This is what happened at TVR Power today, up around 20-25bhp on the old single plenum, but look at the rev range!!
This now is 500bhp at the wheels from nearly 5500rpm-7000!
Jason managed to tweak it nicely as the dyno gave consistent runs time after time so 1 degree here and there was possible to fine tune.

BTW this makes 70lbs/ft at idle 800rpm!!

Its what I am hoping from mine, buth with more than 100ft/lb less across the whole rev range...
