Right I'm befuddled by these, need something for my niece. She's 1 year old next week, just about learning to walk - gets maybe 5 steps before faceplanting. Not talking so much as blah blah blah and gabble.
Been on amazon all morning and I don't really know what to look for. Going to give my brother some cash to get something they actually need, so I just want something that the princess can have fun with.

Looks good, refreshing to see a toy not made of plastic

Just go to Mothercare they sell them. Bloody marvellous invention. If a bit pricey.

Mind you a walker is a nice idea. First 4 wheeled vehicle and all that.

Does look great fun, wouldn't mind a larger one for myself. My brother would probably struggle finding space for it at home though, they have a very small flat.

Baby's first mx5? Who'd have thought that from a PH what whatever thread?

I prefer to buy babies things they will appreciate when they're a bit older: books, disney dvd's etc.

Toys R Us does a huge range of proper wooden toys. We've bought quite a few of them for the OH's nephew.
