Hello all,

I'm trying to find a Pocket Wizard cable to remotely trigger my D300 (will be attached to the back of a fast moving car!) and have found a few decent solutions on the web, but delivery times are no good: 10-15 working days landed to the UK either through ebay http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=pocket+wizard+c... or flashzebra http://www.flashzebra.com/ordering.shtml#internati...

I'm pretty shocked that its apparently impossible to get my hands on one here in the UK, I wonder if any of you guys know of a better (faster!) place to order one from?

cheers,
Steve

Not at those prices but www.TheFlashCentre.com should be able to help if availability trumps price.

I've used the guys in Birmingham a few times and they have always been extremely helpful.

Steve,

I bought one of these last week from SpeedGraphic (just down the road from me). It says they're out of stock on the web but worth giving them a bell.

Cheers chaps, I went with FlashZebra on Tuesday - turns out its not critical for next week now, we'll be shooting at a later date. As it happens I got a shipping notification from them in less than 24hrs so maybe it'll show up next week anyway! Can't be bad @ $25 versus the £135(!!!)yikes that Calumet wanted...... And its not a dodgy Chinese Fomowhangdongyang version, which is nice

thumbup Just to say it showed up (from Flashzebra) first thing Monday morning. Looks well made, tested and works perfectly.
