Tyres and sizes

Just a little research if you dont mind helping out. Could you please list your tyre brand and size, also would you rather buy new "shaved" tyres or buy your own tyres and have them shaved as and when needed?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Jay

7.0/20-13 front, 9.0/20-13 rear. Avon A39 last time but they probably changed the compound since then as I've had them for a while.

I've never had a set of tyres "shaved", don't even know what it means...

Oh, well mine are slicks so that's why I've never had it done!
