I reckoned as a member on Pistonheads and also part of the organising committee for the event, I should probably put a post up here informing other users of this year’s event.

The Rally is on Saturday the 25th of September

For the first time the event start will be in Aberfeldy. The club has received a huge amount of support this year from the people of Aberfeldy and the local community at large.

There will be the usual Friday night antics at the Perth Racecourse as in previous years. This will take the form of an interview with drivers for Saturdays event plus other events still to be finalised, these will be known by Friday. The Colin McRae vision charity will be present, as will other merchandisers.

This years event involves 5 stages which will be familiar with those interested in rallying in Scotland. The stages include favourites like Craigvinean, which features on the Scottish round of the IRC.

The first car leaves the start ramp in Aberfeldy at 8.31 on the Saturday morning and all being well it will stay dry!

The organisers, Coltness Car Club, have a Facebook Group page and a Twitter account. Updates on the lead up to the rally and regular updates on the day will feature here. Keep in touch via either site or the website itself and we hope to see you in the woods for a fun filled Saturday in September.
