Correct hood fitting?

I have a gap where the hood meets the bodywork on my S2. It looks like it is supposed to be connected with velcro but doesn't meet properly. is this a common problem and is there an easy fix?
It is at the points nearest the rear of the doors.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Mine too, about quarter inch gap. Was thinking of using thicker velcro

I have seen an aftermarket hood with an internal flap which is velcroed to the trim by upper seatmounting - looked a good idea to me
