Bought myself a Wagner spray system
Discussion
Decorating the house and did not fancy the ceilings!! Took a look around and git a great deal on a Wagenr Spraytech paintcrew machine.
Arrived today!! Set it all up which was easy. Mixed some nice Dulux trade emulsion with 15% water and had a go..... After a few adjustments I was Off !!
Bloody hell its fast. The smallest amount of over spray . Windows open and it was stone dry in 1 hour as it was such a nice thin coat. Not a sign of the dreaded "orange Peel" effect you get from even a Purdy roller !!
I did 1 x large room and all the stairs which include a very large Cornice which took ages last time.
very very happy. Cleaning was fast. Poured out last bit of paint and wiped up the remain. Then 2 x clean buckets of water through the gun and thats it !!
No way will i ever use a roller again!!
Going to get a small HVLP to do eggshell next !

I quite like the look of that.
Hwo accurate is it? If I did a ceiling /cornice white, then wanted a colour on the wall, how much cutting in at the top with a brush would I need to do to avoid getting colour on the cornice?
For same colour walls and ceiling it looks awesome.
Ceiling first then either tape off using a HIGH quality masking tape that must be applied with care and removed straight after finishing.Hwo accurate is it? mask off skirting etc and spray away.
I am use to them and find i only have a fraction of touching up to do.
Doing a ceiling is interesting ! as its a lot lot harder to keep the gun right angle rather .
secret is good paint and thin it down very very very will first. Far more than a simple mix !!!
cleaning is mega important
