...and ended up buying a specialized allez triple.

Which was not what I intended. But in any event, it seems like a good, light and capable bike for 450 sheets, down from 530. Anyone here got one and are they pleased with it? I intend to take it with me to the Alps in a couple of weeks time.

I bought a Specialized Allez DOUBLE last week for £350 (new), you was robbed smile

Its a great boike though, lightish and does the job, you just need some decent pedals and you are away smile

went for the triple as me and a mate decided to take a week off work and punish ourselves in the alps for a bit. my climbing ability is ok but thought it better to get the triple rather than the double....

I think that 350 must have been a very special price. It would have been little use to me though, although it is a blinding price.

I have also financed this purchase through work so will only cost 37 quid a month.
