Turbo diverter valves

If you look at any of the US Porsche forums, it seems that virtually every 996 TT owner has replaced their stock DVs with aftermarket ones. Some of the problems it has seemed to solve /avoid are a "honking" sound, slow spooling up, lag and low rev surging. My car has certainly been experiencing the low rev surging, and I intend to change the valves.

Question I had was, has anyone here changed their valves? And if so which make did you go for. The consensus in the US seems to be Bailey followed closely by Evo. But your opinions would be appreciated.
