Hi guys,

Thinking about putting an induction kit on my roadster. Have only really looked on MX5 parts so far but have seen a couple of options on there. I have been looking at either:

http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/product...

or

http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/product...

(not too sure if the links will work?)

Anybody running with one of these or have any experience with either?

Any other suggestions in a similar price bracket would also be very welcome.

I've got the K&N57i fitted to my 1.6 '91.

It is okay - as with all induction kits don't expect any more power, just better throttle response and cleaner revs.

If you fit it yourself, be careful unplugging the Air Flow Meter. I pulled the plug instead of unclipping it, and it broke - and it wouldn't move until I fitted another one.

As mentioned above, there really isn't a lot in it. I also have K&N, came with the car, it's ok. From those two the piper cross kit comes with a heat shield- I'd go for that.
