PH iphone app?

There is very little that an App can offer which our mobile site cannot, but a mobile site will work across all mobile platforms rather than being tied to one.

A propper app would be better, But Don't forgot the Android users. The buttons on the mobile site are a tad small for me sausage fingers.

And the Blackberry, and Palm, and Windows mobile users...

The best option would be a Touchscreen optimised version of the mobile site which is then served to devices which it will suit better but (despite the fact that I would dearly love to have it) we don't have the dev time available to create it at the moment.

I think because I got a little frustrated with navigating the mobile site on my old phone. Mainly to do with what page I'm on and issues like that. Subsequently, nothing but the full site. It's the same as on a pc, just enlarge as appropriate. I must admit I haven't given it a chance for a year or so, but the reason is the full site does it all. I'd be amazed (and educated) if I'm alone in this.

It would be nice to have a link to the bottom of the page from the top.

Nothing like catching the top bar on the iphone then having to scroll for 20 secs to get back to the bottom of the page. Otherwise it works well. Quick to load and no extra rubbish using extra bandwidth thats not needed.

The only issue I have with PH on the Touch (ie iPhone), is there's no zoom. The text size is fine, but some images when posted in threads are too small to see properly.

Given the underlying architecture I wouldn't have thought integration would be an issue.

Pinch zoom doesn't work on my Touch on PH mobile - that's what I was referring to. Works fine viewing the 'normal' site though. (strictly speaking it's unpinch wrt to zooming in)

Not quoting directly cos of another iPhone annoyance regarding prefilled text boxes, but that's not specific to here
