G Shock Analogue Hand Fault?
Discussion
If you have the manual for the watch, look at page E-59 which describes the procedure for resetting the hands to the correct home positions. It seems as though it's not a fault - the hands can get knocked out of position harmlessly.
The manual says:
In regular timekeeping mode, hold button bottom-right (BR) for 3 seconds. (beep)
Press BR until the second hand is in the correct position.
Press BL to confirm and move to the next hand.
Use BR to change each hand/pair in turn until it's correct and then press BL to confirm.
Press TL to finish.
(I've just bought a very similar model. )
