Had a week-end in sunny Scotland over the week-end. Set off from a very wet Newcastle on Friday around 4pm with rain lashing down until we got to Berwick where it was blue skies for the rest of the trip. Friday night at our base in Livingston then lovely drive through Glen Coe via Callander then onto Fort William. Back to Livingston with the chance to get the foot down on the M9, followed and waved at by some good people in a large but very nice Merc, sorry don't know the model. The weather was fantastic throughout our two night stay and breakfast taken outside in brilliant sunshine on Sunday morning.
We often have a night or two in Edinburgh but this was the first time in the highlands. Just in case anyone saw us, we were in a 2002 red Corvette.
Thanks again Scotland.

You should have popped over to Hopetoun House on Sunday morning to the Scottish Italian Car & Bike day and doubled the number of Corvette's in the car park!biggrin

There was another corvette in the car park. It may of turned up after you left though. It was a metallic turquoise C4.

Pity always keen to see another vette locally, C4's had a heavy Lotus design influence, especially in the suspension, very very underrated cars and as such cheap!

Saw the ads and it looked like a good event at a very nice venue. Thought about calling in but felt we may be 'gatecrashing'. Sounds like it was a good show, and with perfect weather.
We'll be at East Fortune next month representing the CCCUK, will you be there?

When is it? I searched the CCCUK site but couldn't find any info on it!

Just updated the club calendar today. It's Sat 25th and Sun 26th (we're there on Sun), last year was really good apart from the damn wind. Lot's of other stuff to see as well as the wide variety of cars though.
