Cottage in Scotland for NYE

Looking for some advice regarding where to stay in Scotland over New Years as a treat for my g/f - NYE happens to be her birthday.

There will only be the two of us. I was looking for something remote but luxurious and was aiming to to arrive on the 30th and leave on the 2nd with a budget of about £500 for the accomodation!

Has anyone got any suggestions / experience?
