Ok here it goes; some context.

I currently have a Volvo S80 D5 (current shape). I like it but want a change (I've put quite a few mile on it). I do about 20 - 25K a year, mainly motorway miles. I want an auto. My Mrs has a Honda F-RV, which I secretly really like.

I want a change and here are my current considerations:

07-ish Honda Accord 2.4 EX auto.
07-ish Lexus IS2 250 SE-L (I know they're a little dearer)
07-ish Subaru Legacy 2.5 or 3.0....? Spec B?

I think I want a petrol, as I've had diesels for the last 5 years and want a change. Most of my mileage is paid for (by the client or my business), though I don't want horrendous mileage....

Your considerations welcome....

I like your thinking.

Any other suggestions?

I really like the 2.4 Accord. Haven't driven the Lexus but being RWD, would you enjoy it more? You may trust the Legacy with its 4WD.

Quite different cars you have there. Front, rear and four wheel drive. Drive each and see which you'd prefer.

Good idea. I'll get on it and report back.
