Afterthought

Just had the 48,000 mile service done on my 993 which I've had since new so I know it hasn't been thrashed.

For some reason this morning I started wondering whether I should have asked them to replace the various belts on the engine. Anybody know how long they typically last? Obviously they will have been checked during the service (at least I trust they were) so maybe its just my pessimistic outlook?!

I normally have them done at 24k mile service,,they are not expensive to do and being air cooled, the fan belt is very important as far as i am concerned.
