I have been contacted by the event scruitineer who has pointed out an error in earlier discussion regarding the need for race cars to have MSA log books to compete in a sprint. If the vehicle is used in a sprint "on an occasional basis only" it is exempt.

Para S 9.1.7 of the Blue Book states "Vehicles to be presented for scrutineering with a valid MSA Log Book or an MSA Recognised Vehicle Identity Document unless the car is currently licensed for use on the public highway and is competing in a road legal condition or is currently used in circuit racing and is entered in an event on an occasional basis only. The onus of proof rests with the competitor".

Probably to late to change anyones mind but at least we now have the facts right.
