My daughters mini 1 threw up its brake pad warning (ok the pads where shagged!)
I,ve fitted new Mintex pads thet dont have a sensor fitting, so I've fitted a new sensor but simply not attached it to the pads, just cable tied it out of the way.
The warning light still won't go out!
This after trying to get the warning light to go out by shorting the old sensor wires together.
Ideas anyone please?

You need to turn the ignition on without starting the car and leave it there at least 30 seconds.

If it doesn't work it means the sensors are faulty or not connected properly.

Tried that too!

Looks like a knackerd sensor.

Can you just cut them and twist the wires together?
