Any PHers going?
I dont mean to brag, but i have managed to get a couple of pit passes from a friend working for a team.
Looks like a good weekend, red arrows, Vulcan, P51, Spitfire, Breitling Wingwalking oh and the races.

Yeah I'll be there working as I am at them all - should be a good weekend aside from the possibility of rain.

I'll be there on Sunday. Hoping the weather is reasonably decent. I'll be my third time there this year. 10K, WSB, BTCC. Also got the 1000KM penciled in for September.

I forgot about this, and when I read the OP I was rather tempted...until I saw it was £34 on the gate!!! A little steep given they were £20/25 only 2 or 3 years back...

Missing this one unfortunately, I'd love to see the Vulcan flying. Will be back for Knockhill though.

Chilton fastest in FP1.

Phil Glew returns in a NGTC engined Leon and was 16th fastest. I guess itl take a while to set the car up properly with a different type of engine in there.

Impossible but there again it has been discussed on here on countless occassions about Neal's driving style (or lack of)

And what is it with the drivers being allowed to run off the track at Copse all the time, it looks bloody stupid! nobody wants to see races decided by penalties but surely the stewards should do something about this?!

Its unbelievable that they get away with it, it was the same at Snetterton.

We were all given a lecture by the coc when we were there, more than 3 laps with all 4 wheels off the circuit ( over the white line) and it was in for a drive through. the bumper cars a week later were well off the circuit every lap!!!

its like straight lining a chicane, I think its called cheating..

I'd say the same could be levelled at:-
- Being given an engine with a clear power advantage
- 'nudging' someone's rear when they're fully-loaded mid-corner
- Being Matt Neal! wink

In short, this series strikes me as one for amateurs who don't understand what the word 'respect' means...

As well as Copse cheating the on board just now shows them cutting Brooklands. All 4 wheels beyond the circuit limits White line.

It's not surprising the BTCC is full of nudging and cheating when the feeder series let them do it.

I'd like to see all the hatches that have deliberately gone wide at Copse for 2 consecutive laps DQ'd. Perhaps they might learn then.
