I commented how a Rolex Sub would look ace on the other half after watching Knight and Day (Cameron Diaz sports one). Now I'd like to buy her a diver that looks like a sub, are there any ladies ones out there? Google shoots out a few but I'm wondering if you guys can think of any suitable ones?

A couple of hundred will get you a Steinhart with an ETA movement. Check out Chronomaster website. It would be 42mm though so slightly bigger than the true Sub. Alternatively Werners Flying Watches have the Tauchmeister range with the 'look' you want.

Invicta do a 34mm black faced sub-alike if a ladies size watch is what you want.

I thought this had all the makings of a classic thread from the title frown

Seiko!

The SKX 007 is the mans size (42mm) , the SKX 013 is the mid size (~38mm). Automatic, 200m diver, but winder is at 4 o'clock. No cyclops.

The SKX 031 and smaller SKX 023 look more 'Rolex' - winder at 3 o'clock. However, is only waterproof to 100m. Still auto, still no cyclops.

In both cases, the braclets are crappy. Get a NATO, rubber divers or fake super oyster to fit ( or all three).
I've got the 007, it feels better made when compared side by side. The mech is the same in both cases.

Tudor Lady-Sub?

Linky.

If not, then Tudor used to do a mid-size (similar to a mid-size Seamaster, I think...) men's Submariner.
Both come up on eBay now and then. smile

^ Good idea! (& that one's had a service recently - something I'd definitely do for peace of mind if it was to be worn quite a bit)
