Have a couple of Nikon lenses I want to move on (a 105mm macro and a 80-400 VR). Bit cautious of Ebay so wonder where others here would look?

I've sold a couple to Grays of Westminster (inc 80-400). They gave me a fair price. Condition is important.

Is the macro the AF-D or the AF-S VR version?

I might be interested in the 80-400. Tell me more.

Ffordes do commission sales and will also buy outright for some kit. Very good, very professional.

It's the non-VR, full designation is AF Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D

Sorry Mods, this wasn't intended as a sales pitch

Simpo, I have a 105mm VR that I'm not using if you're looking.

Thanks Muska; on reflection (or should that be refraction?) as the macro is only used in studio situations I can't really justify the VR version.

I sell stuff on Talkphotography or AVForums. Most do Bank Transfers so no loss of cash from the likes of Paypal. Sellers are usually rated too.
