The CDX-P23S fitted in my Chimp has two terminals hanging from the back....a chunky multi-pin (11 point) and a slim 3-pin job with a white connector with only two connections. I'm assuming the two is the +/- and the multi is the signal/control. Anyone able to confirm?

The CDX-P25 is a similar unit, that has two plugs, the one nearest the end of the changer is the controller cable. The plug next to it is permanent live (yellow IIRC) and earth (black).

Thanks Ivan. There's a fault in my set-up somewhere that means there's no juice to measure and helpfully the pair that seems to be the 'power' are both black. One is piggy-backed on and moulded with the 'control' cable set so I assume that must be the + feed (prolly from the head unit?) and the other is just a single cable that disappears into the loom....earth?
