2005 BMW 530d Sat Nav Question

Hi Chaps,

Just purchased my first BMW.....really nice 530d MSport Touring.

I am getting used to teh I Drive system and have one question. I cannot get a map to appear on the screen when the Sat Nav system is on....it only has the arrow view or vehicle postion which just gives co-ordinates.

I am probably being very dumb but would love some help!!!

The Disc in the dahs is "BMW Road Map Europe Business" 2005-1.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your sat nav system is not capable of displaying maps.

The BMW Professional system is the one that displays maps. Your car has BMW Business Navigation which is an arrow only based system.

The screen on a professional system is 16:9 widescreen but your's will be a smaller square 4:3.

Sorry mate should have researched a bit more before buying

Nevermind. Its not important I just presumed it would show maps so thought I would double check.....I had come to the conclusion that I couldn't but just wanted to ask.
