The price is a bit on the high side and 150k on any alfa generally would make me twitchy though the busso engine is pretty reliable providing properly maintained.

Suspension and engine mounts as they chew both. Check out the info on honestjohn .

He says cambelt isnt due for 30k but when was it done?

Should be every 5 years or 72k (whatever comes first), though most suggest 4 years/60k. Count on £450 for a belt change from a reasonably price specialist.

Wishbones/bushes should be checked

Clutch Slip (£400 fitted)

Oil Cooler and pipes should have been changed, as known for leaking

Radiators often dissolve with age

Plus above comments

The Busso engines are very sturdy units, 150k wouldnt worry me, but I would expect it to be less than 2k, as I have seen Aero kitted/teledial GTV's go for 3.5k on 50-60k with good history.

Remember things like power steering racks/clutches e.t.c are more likely to go with age/mileage, even if the engine remains solid.

I paid 2k last year for a 99 V6 lusso, in red with no fade and teledials with matching tyres and spoiler, 12 months mot, belts just done, uprated brakes and exhaust, polybushed, new rad and battery.
Less than 80,000 on the clock and a folder full of receipts, all the keys, real mint car.
£2800 for that car is way over priced.

Unfortunately i wrote it off the 1st day...lol
